Tudi SERPENT je končno izdal orodje, ki nam bo v veliko pomoč :wink:

Anodised aluminium Centax endplay tool. Also can be used to hold the flywheel from rotating when tightening the flywheel nut.

Serpent is pleased to introduce this novel tool for measuring the endplay of your Centax clutch. In the form a gap gauge the tool is placed over the end screw with the bell housing attached. The elevated steps are then placed in the gap until the measurement is found, displayed in engraved numbers on the top. The user can then adjust the amount of endplay shims used on the clutch.

The end of the tool also features a way to hold the Centax flywheel whilst tightening the flywheel nut. It also works with any 2-pin flywheel. The anodised aluminium tool features an engraved Serpent logo.

Čist tko informativno me zanima zakaj se to sploh uporablja ...Dobr jasn mi je da za sklopko sam kwa maš tm za štimat ko je enkrat nastavljen?

evo, še malce osnov, žal zgolj v angleškem jeziku:

Setting the Clutch Gap
Clutch gap is the first gap to set on the Centax-2 or Centax-3 clutch. This sets the distance that the clutch shoe moves before it contacts the clutchbell, which determines HOW the clutch engages. Clutch gap on the Centax-2 or Centax-3 clutch is adjusting be adding/removing shims ON THE THRUSTBEARING SLEEVE IN FRONT OF THE THRUSTBEARING - do not use shims anywhere else to adjust the clutch gap on this type of clutch.

Clutch gap can be set in the range of 0.5~0.7mm. I personally prefer a gap of 0.6mm.

Smaller clutch gap:
Smoother, less sudden clutch engagement. Better on a tight track or a slippery track.

Larger clutch gap:
Harder, more sudden clutch engagement. Better on a large track or a high-traction track.






End Play
Clutch housing end play is the amount that the clutch housing moves along the crankshaft. End play is the LAST thing you should adjust on the Centax clutch, and this is done with the clutch fully assembled with all bearings.
Too much endplay will cause more wear on the thrustbearing. When the clutch is not engaged, the plates of the thrustbearing are further apart. When the clutch engages, the thrustbearing plates travel further before they are 'sandwiched' together... by traveling further more force is built up so when the clutch engages, the thrustbearing has more force applied to it. This causes premature thrustbearing wear and leads to failure.

pa tudi vztrajnik lahko zategneš brez kombinirk ali kakšnih drugih pripomočkov zato so tisti trije utori.

...kar je slabo, saj se pini lahko malce zvijejo in kasneje povzročijo pravi mali masaker v sklopki....

za zategovanje je še vedno najboljša rešitev papagajke + hudy-jev ključ...
